Sheltered and Extra Care Housing

Sheltered Housing

Sheltered accommodation is independant living, typically supported by on resident management staff and community alarms are in the flats.

Regular social activities such as coffee mornings are offered.  Some schemes accept residents from the age of 55.

Extra Care Housing

Extra Care housing is the latest development in care. It offers affordable housing and a secure place to live in a home of your own. Care and support staff are on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet your assessed and emergency care needs.

If you wish to be considered for Extra care accommodation, you will need to contact Hampshire County Council, as Rushmoor are not invovled in the allocation of this type of accommodation.
